The Hermit quietly searches in the dark of the mountain, the Earth, and to the left is the past. Here we see a resolute woman taking control of celestial forces and steering the chariot through her chosen path. The chariot card is supposed to be about overcoming conflicts and moving forward in a positive direction… overcoming conflict with one’s own Self was a true challenge for me in 2021, so interpreting this card really helped me make a few important decisions. In the card, the hero is unsure in which direction he should go and the animals seem to be doubly unsure. The Chariot is the 7th card in the Major Arcana and is usually represented with a princely male figure driving a chariot being pulled by a white and black steed.
